This is a good edition of the Standish Handicap and it is Graff that represents serious value at his current quote.
He returned to the races with an excellent win in the Caulfield Sprint and he wasn’t disgraced behind Bivouac in the Darley Sprint Classic.
This is an obvious drop in class and he has an excellent chance to return to winning form.
Flemington - Race 5 5:00pm AEDT
Riding The Wave finds himself in a very winnable contest at Flemington this afternoon.
He chased home Defiant Dancer last start, who will start the Standish Handicap as favourite, and this race is a genuine drop in quality.
The Malibu Moon gelding still has upside to improve and I expect him to start shorter than his current quote.
Flemington - Race 8 6:55pm AEDT
Fundraiser does look like the best bet of the day at Flemington.
He goes into this contest on the back of two straight wins and the form around him this campaign has been very strong.
This is another very winnable contest for him and he is a horse that I believe will end up in stronger races than this one.
Canterbury - Race 6 7:30pm AEDT
Hightail is great value to make a winning return to the races in the Christmas Classic.
His first-up record is excellent and on his best form I think that he is probably the best horse in this field.
Barrier three is perfect for him and he should get a lovely run in transit just behind the speed.
