Daily Racing Tips – Tuesday 1st June

Hamilton - Race 2 12:20pm AEST

No. 6 Holburt

Holburt doesn’t have a huge amount of experience over the jumps, but he finds himself in a very winnable contest at Hamilton this afternoon.

This really isn’t the strongest race and on his best flat form Holburt would prove very tough to beat.

He is the class horse in this field and he is deserving of his status as a clear favourite.

Hamilton - Race 3 1:00pm AEST

No. 4 Hey Happy

Hey Happy failed to fire at Warrnambool last start, but I am confident that he is a better jumper than that effort suggests.

This is a very weak race and he really only needs to be an average jumper to win a race of this quality.

Steven Pateman in the saddle is a positive and he should prove too strong for this field.

Hamilton - Race 7 3:30pm AEST

No. 3 The Wrangler

The Wrangler is great value at his current quote of $8.

He hasn’t had a huge amount of luck in any of his race starts to date and he finds himself in a weak contest at Hamilton this afternoon.

There are a few question marks over some of the leading contenders in this race and The Wranger is the horse flying under the radar.

Hamilton - Race 8 4:30pm AEST

No. 1 Cop A Clip

Cop A Clip will need some luck in running from the wide barrier draw, but I am confident that she is the best filly in this field.

She beat The Mobot, who has won since, at Mildura a couple of starts ago and she was outclassed at Morphettville.

This is a far more suitable race for her and she appeals at the current quote.
