Why South Sydney Should be Your Grand Final Team

Hình ảnh
For many, it’s a love/hate relationship with the South Sydney Rabbitohs. On one hand, you can’t help but admire the club and the people involved in one of the most iconic sporting teams in the country. On the other, you can’t stand them. They are bloody everywhere and like actual bunny rabbits, they just keep popping up from nowhere. If you’re looking for a team to get behind ahead of Sunday’s NRL Grand Final, I’ve been given the task to convince you why you should sway red and green and be singing Glory Glory come the final whistle. Let’s see if these arguments won’t convince you… Because Adam Reynolds The Souths skipper is leaving for the Brisbane Broncos (Proudly sponsored by Ladbrokes) next season, and wouldn’t becoming a two-time Souths premiership player be a way to leave on a high note? Reynolds, who has been Souths skipper for two seasons played in the clubs famous 2014 triumph and is one of three players along with Alex Johnston and Tom Burgess who will aspire to get an

Great Grand Final Moments

What a cracker of a game last week in the AFL grand final. Well, maybe not if you’re a Dogs supporter… Highlight of the game for us was Petracca’s grubber goal from the sideline. He’s unreal. This week we are looking at some other HUGE moments in grand finals. We’ll include AFL obviously, but with the NRL grand final being on Sunday (hopefully) it would be rude not to discuss the great game of Rugba Leeg. Greg Inglis’ Goanna Crawl – South Sydney V Bulldogs 2014 After a 43-year drought, the South Sydney Rabbitohs won the 2014 premiership against the Bulldogs in what was a demolition. With a couple minutes left to go, GI broke through the Dogs defense to put the icing on the cake. His signature goanna celebration was well received by Souths fans and teammates alike and will be etched in Rugby League memories forever. Leo Barry You Star – Sydney V West Coast 2005 Leo Barry, what a mark! What a time to bring out your career best moment, in the dying moments of the 2005 Grand Fi

Why the Penrith Panthers Should Be Your Grand Final Team

Hình ảnh
The Penrith Panthers are back on the NRL Grand Final stage for another year as they prepare to lock horns with the Rabbitohs on Sunday night at Suncorp. After a brilliant three-loss season, the Panthers will take to the field as favourites in the Ladbrokes market , despite the fact they lost to this same Rabbitohs team only three weeks ago. With a chance to right last year’s wrongs and win a third premiership, we’re here to tell you why you should support The Riff this weekend! Because Pat Cummins Did you know the world’s No. 1 ranked Test bowler is a die-hard Panthers nut? Despite being born in Westmead, just west of Parramatta, Pat Cummins and the rest of his family have bled black and yellow from day dot. One look at Cummins’ Twitter profile suggests he doesn’t mind taking care of his sponsors, which was evident last year when he voiced his fanhood by promoting Kayo to all 300,000 of his followers. My family are all diehard Penrith Panthers fans and this weekend's game

Cold Trading — Betting Without Any Sports Knowledge

Hình ảnh
It may come as a surprise to some of you that many professional bettors and traders know very little about the sports they bet on. They’re called “Cold Traders”, and they exist in both the financial and sports betting worlds. Cold Traders are known to operate in the Horse Racing racing markets where the odds are highly volatile. But unlike the vast majority of other bettors in the market, Cold Traders don’t study the form, jockeys, trainers, pedigree, the going, and so on. Most don’t even watch the events. This concept can seem alien to some bettors. Yet it’s highly important to recognise that successful betting doesn’t hinge on what you know about a sport — it’s what you know about odds.   Cold Trading Isn’t As Crazy As It Sounds Let’s compare Cold Trading to investing . Many investors buy/sell shares without really understanding a great deal about the company or the business. The reason for trading may be loosely based on trends occurring in the market, some basic analysis,

Often the NFL season has the highest bets every year. And the best part! 90% of these chances are available to US citizens. It might look easy to predict the best outcomes following the previous NFL season’s results. However, that is taking the risk too high. What’s the next thing to do? Maximizing your chances of winning through the best tips How Is This Done? Initially, you need to familiarize yourself with the crucial numbers 3 & 7. In short, this translates to every field goal with three points and 7 key points following each touchdown. There is also an extra point kick amounting to 2 points. Even though the 2 point conversion can change the outcomes, it is still rare as most results are three or seven. This is because introducing the 33-yard kick from the previous 20 yard causes many players to miss attempts. Thus

2021 Flight Stakes Preview

A field of 16 fillies will lineup at Randwick on Saturday to contest a wide-open edition of the Group 1 Flight Stakes over the mile.  The $750,000 feature is headlined by the Robert Heathcote-trained Startantes, who returns on the short backup following last week’s fifth in the Golden Rose Stakes.  Top Sydney trainer Chris Waller has a typically strong hand in the race with She’s All Class, Hinged and Fangirl all lining up, while Gai Waterhouse will be hoping to win the race for a 10th time with Swift Witness.  For our thoughts on each runner, scroll down to view our 2021 Flight Stakes Preview! The Paramount Importance Of Sample Size In Betting Analysis

Hình ảnh
Sample size, in a sports betting context, refers to the amount of bets you base your analyses around. Short-term betting results do not say with high ‘confidence’ how likely a strategy is to succeed long-term. This is known as a small (and insignificant) sample size. The more results you have the bigger your sample size is, and the more clarity and accuracy you have in verifying the profitability of your betting strategy. Essentially, a large sample size increases confidence and reduces uncertainty .   Sample Sizes In Betting In betting we can analyse past data to determine estimates or trends. The size of the sample, i.e. the total number of bets recorded, dictates the amount of information we have and (in part) determines the precision or level of confidence that we have in our estimates. In some of my other blog posts (like my analysis on Drifters & Steamers ) I refer to a “test strategy” of recorded bets using real odds. Using this same data set I aim to illustrate the
