Daily Racing Tips – Monday 1st November

Ballarat - Race 1 1:00pm AEDT

No. 5 Nice For What

Nice For What has an excellent chance to claim a maiden race win at Ballarat this afternoon.

She returned to the races with a good effort at Cranbourne and she wasn’t disgraced in the Scarborough Stakes at The Valley.

This is a genuine drop in class and on exposed form she does have a genuine edge over the rest of this field.

Ballarat - Race 5 3:20pm AEDT

No. 4 Strategist

Strategist can make it back-to-back wins in an open contest at Ballarat.

He had no luck in running first-up at Pakenham before he scored a tough win over Jet Jackson at Kilmore last start.

This race is tougher, but he still has the upside to improve and the $5.50 currently available is over the odds.

Ballarat - Race 7 4:40pm AEDT

No. 3 A Fighting Fury

A Fighting Fury doesn’t win out of turn, but he is capable of a high rating on his day.

His win a few starts ago at Coleraine was nothing short of outstanding and a repeat of that effort would make him tough to beat.

Any give in the track is a positive and he will have every possible chance in the run from barrier six.

Ballarat - Race 8 5:20pm AEDT

No. 5 Bones

Bones is a much better chance than his current odds suggest.

He has generally been racing in tougher company than this and all of his best form has been at Ballarat – he has scored two wins from his four race starts at this venue.

Barrier six is ideal and he will make his own luck right on the speed with Jarrod Fry in the saddle.
