Daily Racing Tips – Monday 28th February
Hamilton - Race 2 1:50pm AEDT
Gunaluva is three weeks between runs following a fair effort first-up at Colac over shorter.
The son of Reliable Man stuck on well for sixth in a similar race, a form line that reads well with the winner Peal Rain going on to run well in the Tasmanian Oaks last week.
The Symon Wilde-trained five-year-old has placed in two of his three starts second-up and will be racing with the blinkers off for the first time.
Hamilton - Race 2 3:30pm AEDT
Rose Tiara is on the quick backup after holding ground for second last week over the same trip at Terang.
The Helmet mare won on the quick backup earlier in the year by a massive six-length margin under Jacob Opperman, and she only needs to hold her form to be a major threat.
Barrier 5 should see her box-seat and prove tough to hold out late.
Hamilton - Race 6 4:00pm AEDT
Stylish Enuff looks set to peak in his third run back.
The Aaron Purcell-trained gelding has been strong late in both runs back at Warrnambool and should be plenty fit now at this stage of his prep.
He’ll make his own luck on speed from barrier 1 and likely take some catching.
Hamilton - Race 7 4:30pm AEDT
Redeel looks nicely placed in her first run back since the spring.
The Dundeel mare is only lightly raced, having found the money in five of her eight starts so far.
She ran very well in a tougher race at Bendigo first-up last campaign, while her second-up effort for third at The Valley was equally as impressive. Has won twice fresh and this is a step back in class.
