Milwaukee Bucks Vs Boston Celtics

The Bucks and the Celtics are arguably the two teams to beat in the East this year, so it’s great the NBA has cleared the rest of the schedule so we can get a taste of what an Conference Finals matchup might look like.
The Celtics are a hardy team that has been great on the road all year, but I’m firmly with the Bucks on this occasion laying -3 at the line.
Despite their record, Boston has been a difficult team to get a feel for over the last few weeks, losing winnable games against the likes of the Rockets, Jazz, and on Wednesday, the Wizards.
The Celtics have nights where they give up a lot of open looks from three, and I’m beginning to question their bench depth with Grant Williams playing a ton of minutes and Payton Pritchard now injured.
Robert Williams is also questionable for this game, which doesn’t bode well against a Bucks team that just recorded a big win over the Pacers last night – a result that saw Jrue Holliday record a career-high 51-points and Giannis post a triple-double.
The Bucks have been a highly profitable betting play in the second game of a back-to-back this year, playing to a league-best 9-1-1 record against the spread. With the Celtics showing some concerning signs before the playoffs, I like Milwaukee to make a statement.

Denver Nuggets Vs New Orleans Pelicans

It’s worth monitoring the injury report here with Nikola Jokic listed as questionable with calf tightness.
Even so, the Nuggets have a strong record without their back-to-back MVP, but I’m not sure they’ll risk him with a 3.5-game hold on the Grizzlies in the West standings.
With or without the Joker, I still think the Pelicans are a decent play here at the line. Sitting dead even at .500, a win is much more important to New Orleans, and they do look to have an advantage when it comes to rebounding and overall defence right now.
Trends-wise, the Pels are 6-2 at the line in their last eight meetings in Denver, so I’m taking them to cover.
