Daily Racing Tips – Tuesday 2nd March

Bendigo - Race 5 3:30pm AEDT No. 1 Annunciate It has been a while between race wins for Annunciate, but this does look like a nice race for him. He was unlucky not to return to winning form at Stony Creek last start and before that he had been racing in much stronger grade than this. The All Too Hard gelding will need some luck in running, but this really isn’t the strongest race. Bet Now: Bendigo Race 5 Bendigo - Race 6 4:00pm AEDT No. 2 Zorro's Dream Zorro’s Dream will return to the races in a very winnable contest at Bendigo this afternoon. He has not produced a poor effort during his racing career to date and he is always right in the mix first-up. Barrier four is ideal and Jye McNeil will be able to settle him right on the speed in the early stages of the race. Bet Now: Bendigo Race 6 Bendigo - Race 7 4:30pm AEDT No. 1 So Let's Toast So Let’s Toast is a lightly-raced colt that has plenty of upside. He finished a credible third in the Gothic Stake

Australian Racing’s Biggest Group 1 Upsets

Hình ảnh
Did anybody back Lunar Fox in the Australian Guineas on Saturday? Flemington and the entire racing world was completely stunned when Lunar Fox upstaged a host of three-year-olds to win the Australian Guineas at the incredibly juicy odds of $301! Lunar Fox has joined the short list of Australian horses that have won Group 1 races at triple figure odds and we have combined this list of the biggest Group 1 upsets in the modern era of Australian racing. Dandy Andy – 1988 Australian Cup Dandy Andy’s upset win in the 1988 Australian Cup is so infamous that Matt Hill even mentioned it in his excellent call of the 2019 Makybe Diva Stakes. The 1988 Australian Cup was meant to be a match race between Vo Rogue and Bonecrusher, but Vo Rogue ran out of gas late and it was Dandy Andy that was able to finish over the top of his rival in what is still considered the biggest upset in the history of Australian racing. Are the Texans Holding Deshaun Watson Hostage or Vice Versa?

Texans Holding Deshaun Watson : Houston Quarterback Deshaun Watson is attempting to stampede his way out of Houston. Following a series of falling outs between the star quarterback and the Texans front office, Watson has requested a trade out of Houston. The Texans front office, despite promising Watson, failed to involve him in the hiring process of General Manager Nick Casserio and Head Coach David Culley. This appears to have been the final straw for Watson. After Bill O’Brien was fired following an 0-4 start to the 2020 season fans of the Houston Texans rejoiced. The organization had finally realized that O’Brien was doing nothing but wasting star players. The Texans had all the pieces to win a championship in the past 5-year window but failed to capitalize. In last year’s playoff loss against the eventual Super Bowl winning Chiefs the Texans held a 24-0 lead but bad coaching decisions from O’Brien lost them the game. When Deandre Hopkins, the superstar wide receiver and Wat

Sapphire Coast - Race 2 2:20pm AEDT No. 4 Nicci's Song Nicci’s Song has recorded two wins from her four race starts to date and she is a filly that clearly has plenty of upside. The way that she put away her rivals at Wagga last start was very impressive and the fact that she is being kept at 1000 metres is a positive. She will make her own luck right on the speed and is deserving of her status as a clear favourite. Bet Now: Sapphire Coast Race 2 Sapphire Coast - Race 5 4:10pm AEDT No. 11 Icksta Icksta has only scored the one race win from his 16 race starts, but this does look like the right race for him. He returned to the races with a good second behind Super Swish at Sapphire Coast last start and he should take good improvement from that performance. Best NBA Teams to Bet Hard Down the Stretch

Hình ảnh
Best NBA Teams to Bet Utah Jazz Let’s start with the Utah Jazz. The Jazz is currently the number one seed in the NBA with an incredible 26-6 record. This year Utah has come together as a team and have been unstoppable. They are on a hot streak, and they don’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. The starting lineup for the Jazz consists of Donovan Mitchell (SG), Mike Conley (PG), Bojan Bogdanovic (SF), Royce O’Neale (PF), and Rudy Gobert (C). Mitchell is the team’s points leader averaging 24 points per game. Gobert leads the team in blocks (2.8) and rebounds (13.3), placing him in the top 5 of the NBA, and Conley leads the team in assists and steals. In their 6 losses, 4 were during away games, and 2 were home games. Utah’s next 10 games only will include one home game. Even though they will be playing mostly away games, they aren’t against tough teams. In the lineup are Miami, Orlando, and New Orleans. So, expect them to keep winning. Usually, when you bet in basketball, you w

European Football Preview – February 27

Our European preview has honed in on three leagues this week, starting off with Ligue 1 in France before double dipping in Spain and Italy. We’ve scoured the continent for the best value plays and have found our best five below. Read on to see who we are backing. Bordeaux Vs Metz Saturday 27 February, 11:30pm, Matmut Atlantique We will open up our trip around the continent with this mid-table Ligue 1 clash as Metz aims for its first win over Bordeaux since September 2007. In the ten meetings between these sides since then, Bordeaux has won seven and the other three have finished in draws, including the scoreless tie between the teams in early January. Bordeaux comes into this match on a horrible run of form, losing five of their last six in all competitions and drawing with Marseille as well. That’s good enough for me to back against Bordeaux here. Back Metz to Win @ $3.00 Bet Now: Bordeaux v Metz Sevilla Vs Barcelona Sunday 28 February, 2:15am, Est

What Does 1.5 Goals Mean In Betting?

We often get asked, what does 1.5 goals mean in betting? You’re probably asking this question because you know there can’t be 1.5 goals scored in a match – and you’d be correct. So, what does 1.5 goals mean? Many bookmakers set money lines to form over/under goals markets in many sports, and 1.5 goals is one of those money lines. Over/under 1.5 goals is a 2-way market, with the only two possible results being there are over 1.5 goals or under 1.5 goals. Over/under 1.5 goals markets are traditionally settled at full-time, with any extra time or penalty shootouts not affecting the result of your bet. But we always recommend you check the terms and conditions of each bookmaker you bet with, in case their terms and conditions are different from the norm. What Bookmakers Offer 1.5 Goals Betting? Over/under goal markets can apply to any sport in which goals are scored, but they are most common in football, in which over/under 1.5 goals is one of the most popular. But most bookmakers also

How Do Horse Tracks Make Money?

Lots of people love a day at the races and millions of people buy tickets each year. The price of tickets varies greatly depending on the racetrack, the enclosure, and the importance of the meeting. Meetings such as Royal Ascot and the Cheltenham Festival command the highest ticket prices, with the top enclosures costing quite a lot of money. But people are willing to pay even to watch horse racing at the smaller tracks on a cold wet and windy afternoon in winter. Of course, the bigger racetracks find it much easier to make money from selling tickets. Over 250,000 people attend Royal Ascot each year and that’s just one of Ascot Racecourse’s many high-profile meetings. The Cheltenham Festival also boasts similar attendances, with their record being 266,779 people paying to get in over the four days of their biggest meeting. Cheltenham also stages a variety of other well-attended meetings. Of course, not all racetracks boast the attendance figures of Ascot or Cheltenham, but the payi

2021 Tattersall’s Members Cup Day Preview

Black type racing returns to the Sunshine Coast this weekend as a quality field of gallopers step out over the mile in the Listed Tattersall’s Members’ Cup. Three Prelude races will also be run and won leading into next month’s $500,000 Jewel race on March 13. Our best bets for the entire nine-race program can be found below. Race 1 - 12:23pm AEDT Tattersall’s Arcahde Class 3 Plate (1600m) A wide-open race to start the program and it doesn’t get any easier from here. Bonaparte is a dual acceptor but does look tough to beat here dropping back in grade following a cruisy four-length win over shorter in Benchmark 75 company a fortnight ago. The son of Pierro settled up front just off the speed before unleashing over the final 100m to win comfortably. There’s no question he’ll see out the mile now, and if he does line up in this, he’ll take a power of beating. Word For Word is a tough one to trust on recent form, but she does look the logical danger making the trip up from Sydn
