Race 1 - 12:40pm TCL TV Stakes (1700m) This is a tough way to start the day and there are a host of winning chances. Showtime Lady looks set to be able to find the lead fairly comfortably and she could prove tough to run down. Her recent form has been good enough to win this race and she appeals at her current quote of $9.50. 1 Unit Showtime Lady Bet Now: Flemington Race 1 Race 2 - 1:15pm Inglis Bracelet (1600m) Sirileo Miss is deserving of her status as a clear favourite in Inglis Bracelet betting. She has scored three wins from as many starts this campaign and the scary thing for her rivals is that she has improved each time that she has been seen at the races

5 Lessons Learned – NFL Week 8

Hình ảnh
There was drama aplenty on Monday morning as the bulk of the NFL Week 8 schedule played out over 11 hours. Backup quarterbacks stepped up and delivered in a big way as some big stars were forced to sit out. For new arrivals to the blog, before you check your calendar and wonder what day it is, there is a method to offering a weekly recap before the week in question has been completed. As is Cup week tradition here for NFL 5 Lessons Learned, we’re bringing you our weekly recap on a Monday so you can focus on Flemington tomorrow. And let’s be honest, what are we going to pick up from tomorrow’s Chiefs-Giants game anyway? 1 – Trick or Treat It was only fitting that the games played on October 31 produced some scary results across the board. On the American holiday where you go around to other people’s houses and come away with candy,  road teams provided a fill up. Prior to the Vikings and Chiefs playing, only three of the eight home favourites managed to win and cover, while home

What Bookmakers Accept BPAY?

What Bookmakers Accept BPAY? Several betting sites accept BPAY as a payment method. They include Neds, Sportsbet, Sportsbetting, TopSport , and PalmerBet. They are the leading Australian bookmakers who give the BPAY option to their customers so they can make a deposit into their chosen account. The options are varied but with BPAY, it is one of the best and most popular with Australian betting customers. Who Owns BPAY? It allowed their customers to pay all of their bills online with the utmost security, whether that be by telephone or mobile banking. For customers to be able to pay their bills with BPAY, they must have accounts open with an Australian financial institution such as ANZ, Westpac, People’s Choice, etc and t

2021 Melbourne Cup Internationals Preview

Four of the last five Melbourne Cup winners have been internationally trained and nine of the last 11 have been Internationally bred. We will not see as many horses making the trek this year because of the state of the world at the moment but they always add a lot of intrigue into our great race. The red hot favourite for this year’s race, Incentivise, is a local horse but there are still a few internationals that could spoil the party for the Australian trained contingent. Twilight Payment The 2020 Melbourne Cup winner comes into this race in better form than he did last year when winning the race by half a length. The now nine year old gelding was a dominant winner at Curragh by 1.8 lengths over 2816m before finishing second behind Sonnyboyliston by less than a length in his last start. He rises in weight from 55.5kg last year to 58kg this year and will have to defy history by becoming just the second horse in 66 years to carry the number 1 saddlecloth to victory to win the cup

Jimmy Cassidy’s 2021 Melbourne Cup Tips

Jimmy Cassidy has won the Melbourne Cup on two occasions, with Kiwi and Might And Power, and he knows more about the race than most! The Pumper has analysed the entire field and his complete 2021 Melbourne Cup tips can be found below! Winner – Incentivise Incentivise is an absolute superstar and he might be the most exciting horse to run in a Melbourne Cup since Might And Power in 1997. He could not have been more impressive in the Caulfield Cup and I think that he will be even better over the 3200 metres of the Melbourne Cup. I like the fact that he makes his own luck right on the speed and he is a stayer with a serious amount of class. I am confident that he can win the Melbourne Cup by more than five lengths. Bet Now: Incentivise 2nd – Twilight Payment I expect Twilight Payment to produce another strong performance in the Melbourne Cup. He could not have been tougher when he won the race 12 months ago and his lead-up form has been even better than it was 12 months ago.

2021 Melbourne Cup Day Tips – Best Away From Flemington

Randwick - Race 7 4:20pm AEDT No. 5 Wandabaa Wandabaa has been an incredibly consistent mare throughout her 26 start racing career, placing in 19 of those starts. The five year old mare put in a rare bad one when first up in the Group 3 Nivision behind the very smart Minhaaj. I love the fact that she has had a trial in between runs where she won impressively. Bet Now: Randwick Race 7 Eagle Farm - Race 4 3:51pm AEDT No. 4 Virtuous Miss Kris Lees saddles up last start winner Viruous Miss in the fourth race of the afternoon at Eagle Farm and she looks a very good bet at her current price. She couldn’t have been much more impressive when breaking her maiden at Doomben by 3.5 lengths last start and is again well placed in this event over the short course. Drawn to get a nice run in transit from barrier four. Bet Now: Eagle Farm Race 4 Eagle Farm - Race 6 5:08pm AEDT No. 7 The Big Goodbye The Big Goodbye has finished inside the top two in all six of his starts so fa

Peter Moody’s 2021 Melbourne Cup Tips

Peter Moody has the 2021 Melbourne Cup favourite Incentivise and it should come as no surprise that he has him on top of his Melbourne Cup tips. Who does he think are the main dangers? Moods has analysed every horse in the field and his complete 2021 Melbourne Cup tips are now available. Winner – Incentivise He is in great order and I am pleased with his overall condition. Barrier 16 is not a bad gate for him and I think they will roll along pretty strongly down the straight the first time, but I think Brett Prebble will ride him in a similar fashion to the Caulfield Cup. He might be three or four deep going past the post for the first time, but then he can work to where he needs to be. He has had a faultless preparation into this. Am I as confident as I was the Caulfield Cup. No. We go to 3200 metres for the first time and we are another one deeper into a preparation, so you keep asking yourself does the horse have another one in him. He hasn’t improved off his Caulfield Cup

Terang - Race 3 7:24pm AEST No. 8 Ghanasuya Ghanasuya is racing consistently right at the minute with four consecutive placings leading into this assignment at Terang. The five year old gelding should be able to control the tempo of the race in transit from the draw on the pegs and looks tough to beat in an open race. Bet Now: Terang Race 3 Terang - Race 6 8:55pm AEST No. 1 Sea Lover Five year old mare Sea Lover has a good record at this track and she is racing well right at the minute. This is a competitive race but she can go straight to the front with the draw from the pegs and will be tough to run down. Bet Now: Terang Race 6 Terang - Race 7 9:20pm AEST No. 6 Honey Bourbon Honey Bourbon returned from a spell with a narrow victory at Maryborough which was her fourth career win from 12 starts. She is going to have to overcome a 30 metre handicap but is more than capable. Bet Now: Terang Race 7 The post Daily Harness Tips – Monday 1st November appeared firs

Daily Racing Tips – Monday 1st November

Ballarat - Race 1 1:00pm AEDT No. 5 Nice For What Nice For What has an excellent chance to claim a maiden race win at Ballarat this afternoon. She returned to the races with a good effort at Cranbourne and she wasn’t disgraced in the Scarborough Stakes at The Valley. This is a genuine drop in class and on exposed form she does have a genuine edge over the rest of this field. Bet Now: Ballarat Race 1 Ballarat - Race 5 3:20pm AEDT No. 4 Strategist Strategist can make it back-to-back wins in an open contest at Ballarat. He had no luck in running first-up at Pakenham before he scored a tough win over Jet Jackson at Kilmore last start. This race is tougher, but he still has the upside to improve and the $5.50 currently available is over the odds. Bet Now: Ballarat Race 5 Ballarat - Race 7 4:40pm AEDT No. 3 A Fighting Fury A Fighting Fury doesn’t win out of turn, but he is capable of a high rating on his day. His win a few starts ago at Coleraine was nothing short

The Caulfield Cup/Melbourne Cup Double – A Modern Day Impossibility

Hình ảnh
The Caulfield and Melbourne Cup double is one of the most prestigious achievements for any staying horse in the country (and world) and has been completed by some very good horses. In fact, 11 horses have achieved the double including Poseidon (1906), Rising Fast (1954), Galilee (1966) and Let’s Elope (1991) to name a few. As the Melbourne Cup expanded to include more and more international horses, this feat has been harder and harder to achieve and the last horse to complete the double was Ethereal in 2001. Peter Moody is on the precipice of breaking this trend as he saddles up Incentivise on Tuesday who is the shortest priced favourite in the modern era. We’ve run through every Caulfield Cup winner since the New Zealand mare famously won the ‘Cups Double’ 19 years ago to see just how they fared on the first Tuesday in November. 2002 – Northerly Melbourne Cup – Did Not Run The don’t make them any tougher than the ‘Fighting Tiger’ Northerly and he was in tremendous form leading

5 Lessons Learned – Victoria Derby Day

Hình ảnh
The 2021 Melbourne Cup Carnival kicked off at Flemington on Derby Day and four Group 1 races headlined the program. James McDonald rode four wins, Damien Oliver won two feature races and John Allen stamped himself as the Derby King aboard Hitotsu. $7.5 million went on the line in Sydney with the third running of The Golden Eagle, and I’m Thunderstruck completed a stunning performance to record another lucrative win. Here are our 5 lessons learned on Derby Day. 1 – Fangirl has a very bright future Derby Day began with a bang as James McDonald pushed the button and Fangirl destroyed them in the Carbine Club Stakes. The Sebring filly broke her maiden at Goulburn at the end of September and simply hasn’t looked back, winning the Listed Reginald Allen in Sydney before Saturday’s demolition job. I wonder if Chris Waller is lamenting not tossing her into a Thousand Guineas… Punters are off to a flyer on #DerbyDay . Fangirl was heavily supported and let down with a powerful turn of f

2021 Melbourne Cup Preview

Our 2021 Melbourne Cup tips are here! Incentivise has dominated the lead-up to the Melbourne Cup and he is set to start as the shortest-priced favourite in the race since Phar Lap. Will Incentivise get the job done or will we see a Melbourne Cup upset? We have analysed every single horse in the field and our complete 2021 Melbourne Cup tips can be found below! Twilight Payment Twilight Payment is back for another crack at the Melbourne Cup after his tough front-running win 12 months ago. His lead-up form in Ireland and England has been as good as it was last year. He failed to fire in the Gold Cup at Royal Ascot, but he returned to his best form to win the Irish St Leger Trial Stakes before he finished a gallant second behind Sonnyboyliston in the Irish St Leger. It takes an extremely good horse to win the Melbourne Cup in back-to-back years and Makybe Diva is the only top-weight to have won the race in the past 67 years, but Twilight Payment can’t be discounted.
