2021 NBL Round 21 Preview

Illawarra Hawks Vs Perth Wildcats Tuesday, June 1, 7:30pm, WIN Entertainment Centre We’ve got even money on offer tonight between second and third on the ladder. These two sides are both well on their way to playing finals, but this game does shape as an important one as far as playoff momentum is concerned. The Hawks have won four straight coming in, while the Wildcats are also scorching hot with five wins from their past six games. Perhaps the one factor that separates these two sides is Perth’s dominant run over Illawarra dating back to 2019. The Wildcats have won seven straight over the Hawks and have also played to a handy 12-5 record as the away favourite against Illawarra. There really isn’t much separating these two sides, but Perth winning in a low-scoring game seems the likely outcome. Tip: Back the Wildcats to Win & Under 161.5 Total Points @ $3.60 New Zealand Breakers Vs Cairns Taipans Wednesday, June 2, 5:30pm, Energy Events Centre

Daily Greyhound Tips – Wednesday 2nd June

Richmond - Race 7 4:56pm AEST No. 5 Despicable Nelly The 2-year-old goes well at Richmond and looked really good in his second place finish in his most recent start at the same track on Friday night.  Trainer Sarah Easey really knows how to get dogs to perform at their very best at Richmond and Despicable Nelly is almost certain to be in the mix.  At the price on offer, it’s worth an each way bet to get things started.   Bet Now: Richmond Race 7 Richmond - Race 8 5:16pm AEST 3. Cumbria Ninno The 3-year-old bitch got the job done at Richmond three runs ago and has the chance to bounce back from a disappointing outing at Wentworth Park last start.  I’m not giving up on Cubria Ninno, she’s done her best work at Richmond and while the distance is slightly shorter than her last start at the same track, she won’t be far away.  Worth a shot especially being back at Richmond.  Bet Now: Richmond Race 8 Richmond - Race 9 5:39pm AEST 4. Been Around Been Around is really

Redcliffe - Race 3 6:20 pm AEST No. 7 – Gootahaveahobbie After a disappointing last start at Redcliffe, Gottahaveahobbie is back from a spell and is well-placed to make a winning return to the races.  We saw everything that Gottahaveahobbie had to offer when he got the job done as the favourite back at Marburg only a couple of weeks back.  There’s no reason why he can’t be at the finish and can put his Redcliffe demons to rest.  Bet Now: Redcliffe Race 3 Redcliffe - Race 5 7:20 pm AEST No. 5 – Our Ultimate Bonny The Happy 97th Keith Overton Pace is without doubt, the race on this card I’m looking forward to the most. Our Ultimate Bonny really impressed when it ran second to Fire Me Up at Redcliffe last start and she can replicate that performance tonight.  On the quick back-up, she’s a definite winning chance in a highly competitive field and she can end her run of second place finishes.  Bet Now: Redcliffe Race 5 Redcliffe - Race 7 8:20 pm AEST No. 7 – Chasin Dr

2021 The Memorial Tournament Preview

The PGA Tour heads north to Ohio on Friday (AEDT) for the time-honoured Memorial Tournament from Muirfield Village. The Jack Nicklaus designed course hosted two tournaments last year, but it has since received a renovation with new greens installed, rebuilt fairways and some length added to the overall distance. Jon Rahm prevailed last year to assert himself into the top spot on the world rankings, and it is no surprise to find the Spaniard headlining the top of the market this time around. Greg Norman was the last Australian to win The Memorial back in 1995, and there is plenty of value on offer for Cameron Smith ($41), Marc Leishman ($51) and Jason Day ($56) to get the job done. For our best bets heading into the weekend, read on below. Why The WWE Should End The Fiend Gimmick

Hình ảnh
The Fiend made his debut in WWE back in 2019, and while it was honestly one of the most chilling segments in company history, it wouldn’t save the character from what would ultimately happen to it. In fact, between Vince McMahon subjecting the once-dominant character to 50/50 booking and the massive holes in the storytelling, it looked doomed to fail eventually. Now, It is no exaggeration that The Fiend character portrayed by Bray Wyatt has absolutely captivated the WWE Universe but has also created a massive-sized rift as well. Not only is that evident by the way rage whenever The Fiend character loses, but also by the fact that the company just doesn’t seem to know what to do with it anymore. The Fiend WWE Debut When The Fiend originally debuted, WWE constantly played up the fact that his character was invincible and that he changed you as a person. While those were both interesting concepts to play with, especially with a lack of an Undertaker-like character in the compan

Daily Racing Tips – Tuesday 1st June

Hamilton - Race 2 12:20pm AEST No. 6 Holburt Holburt doesn’t have a huge amount of experience over the jumps, but he finds himself in a very winnable contest at Hamilton this afternoon. This really isn’t the strongest race and on his best flat form Holburt would prove very tough to beat. He is the class horse in this field and he is deserving of his status as a clear favourite. Bet Now: Hamilton Race 2 Hamilton - Race 3 1:00pm AEST No. 4 Hey Happy Hey Happy failed to fire at Warrnambool last start, but I am confident that he is a better jumper than that effort suggests. This is a very weak race and he really only needs to be an average jumper to win a race of this quality. Steven Pateman in the saddle is a positive and he should prove too strong for this field. Bet Now: Hamilton Race 3 Hamilton - Race 7 3:30pm AEST No. 3 The Wrangler The Wrangler is great value at his current quote of $8. He hasn’t had a huge amount of luck in any of his race starts to date a

5 Lessons Learned – NRL Round 12

Hình ảnh
We are almost at the halfway point of the 2021 NRL season and that means it is State of Origin time. Players had one final chance to earn a call up this weekend (or avoid missing out on one) and we were delivered plenty of entertaining moments across the eight games. Check out our five big takeaways below! 1 – Home Cooking Wins The Week A week after visiting sides stole the show against the spread, home sides dominated the head to head results. Seven of the eight hosts won their games and the only visiting team to pick up a win was the Storm in Brisbane, who are a fourth Queensland side in every way but name anyway. Smith and Hynes combine! #TelstraPremiership #NRLBroncosStorm pic.twitter.com/f5Rk55jE8E — NRL (@NRL) May 27, 2021 There was a healthy mix of favourites winning and a couple of upsets thrown in for good measure with the Cowboys, Sharks and Knights all coming away with surprise victories. Had you backed every home team to win at their closing price, you woul

Ladbrokes Park Preview – Wednesday 2nd June

Ladbrokes Park will host an impressive eight race card on Wednesday, June 2 nd . The rail will be set out twelve metres around the entire course and at publish, we’re faced with a track rated in the Soft (5) range. Race 1 - 12:25pm Ladbrokes Plate (1300m) Write The Score found form around some good horses last time and can make a winning return at Ladbrokes Park on Wednesday. The Written Tycoon filly didn’t manage to record an elusive win, but she raced consistently, and finished second behind Liquero at Mornington most notably. She has reportedly taken benefit from her time away from the track and I’m happy to stick with her today. 4 Units Write The Score Bet Now: Ladbrokes Park Race 1 Race 2 - 1:00pm Clanbrooke Racing Handicap (1400m) Mac ‘N’ Cheese only just missed at Bendigo on debut and can break her maiden at Ladbrokes Park this week. The Sebring filly mustered an eye-catching turn of foot to finish second, beaten a little more than a head by All About Eve.

Warwick Farm Preview – Wednesday 2nd June

We’re back to Warwick Farm on Wednesday for another exciting seven-race program. The rail will be set out five metres from the 1000m to the winning post, and 3 metres around the remainder, and at publish, the track is rated in the Soft (5) range. Race 1 - 12:50pm XXXX Handicap (1400m) I’m going to give Captivare once last chance in the first at Warwick Farm on Wednesday. The Chris Waller-trained gelding has made five appearances at the races since resuming at the end of March, and while he is obviously yet to record a win, he is also yet to miss placing. He enters this race on the short back-up and he might not be offered a better opportunity to win. 2 Units Captivare Bet Now: Warwick Farm Race 1 Race 2 - 1:25pm Too Darn Hot @ Darley Handicap (1100m) There isn’t much form to study ahead of this maiden race for two-year-olds, but I was taken by what Verne did on debut, and he looks well placed to win. The Snitzel colt showed ability at the trials prior to debuting,

Melton - Race 6 7:30pm AEST No. 1 1 Jemstone Glory Jemstone Glory has been racing very consistently in recent times and has been placed in four of her last five starts. She is a winner the last time she started at this track and distance and she will get all the benefits that come with the draw on the pegs. Bet Now: Melton Race 6 Melton - Race 8 8:30 pm AEST No. 6 Heritage Lady Three year old filly Heritage Lady was a narrow winner at big odds at Shepparton just before going for a spell. She resumed with the second win of her career at Wagga by over five metres from just the five starts. She looks well placed yet again in this event. Bet Now: Melton Race 8 Melton - Race 9 9:00pm AEST No. 1 Schnappshot Schnappshot finished her last prep with back to back placings at Shepparton and Cranbourne and although she finished sixth when resuming, she will take plenty of benefit from the run. She will get all the advantaged that come with the draw on the pegs. Bet

5 Lessons Learned – AFL Round 11

Hình ảnh
As much as we’d all love to bet with retrospective and hindsight knowledge, we’ll have to make do with what we learned from the weekend gone by in the AFL. That’s where our 5 Lessons Learned column comes into play. There’s plenty of Monday experts out there, but we’re here to give you the punters perspective as we take in the “learnings” from Round 11. (1) Melbourne is the Flag Favorite. Do not adjust your screens. This is not a dream. This is not a drill. The Melbourne Football Club, the Demons, the grand old flag, are outright premiership favorites after Round 11 at $4.50 Take a screenshot. Bulli - Race 3 7:28pm AEST No. 6 One Shadow One Shadow has been thriving over the 400m at Bulli having won her only two starts here in her last two trips to the races. She has recorded two slick times in both those wins and if she can repeat that, she will be the one to beat yet again. Bet Now: Bulli Race 3 Bulli - Race 5 8:08pm AEST No. 2 Zipping Kansas Zipping Kansas is a very exciting young greyhound who is undefeated in four career starts so far. Three of those wins have been at this track and distance and despite his inexperience, he still holds the fastest time here of any dog competing in this race. Bet Now: Bulli Race 5 Bulli - Race 8 9:09pm AEST No. 7 Alice Unchained Alice Unchained is another exciting, young greyhound who looks well placed against her older rivals. The daughter of Barcia Bale has had just the two starts to date but she was a comfortable winner at this track and distance last start, running a very good time in the process. Bet Now: Bu

Maryborough - Race 3 12:22pm AEST No. 4 Honey Bourbon Honey Bourbon has put together three impressive wins on the trot by a combined 17+ metres. The three year old filly is absolutely flying at the minute and at some stage she will hit a level that is beyond her. I don’t think this is that level. Bet Now: Maryborough Race 3 Maryborough - Race 5 1:37 pm AEST No. 2 American Tiger Three placings in a row was followed by a nice win for American Tiger leading into his last start at Bendigo over 1650m, It didn’t all go to plan in that race when he finished 9th but he will appreciate the step back up in distance as well as the good draw for this race. Bet Now: Maryborough Race 5 Maryborough - Race 7 2:52pm AEST No. 10 Elegant Jet Nothing went to plan when Elegant Jet made her racing debut at Geelong when she was well beaten but she was much better last time out. She started the $2.30 favourite at Bendigo in that race but she simply ran into one better. Looks we

Albion Park - Race 4 7:53pm AEST No. 4 Georgia Keeping Georgia Keeping has two wins from her last four outings at Albion Park and she comes into this assignment off the back of a personal best time at the track and distance. She ran a very slick 34.97 in that race which is the fastest time of any dog in this race here. Bet Now: Albion Park Race 4 Albion Park - Race 5 8:13pm AEST No. 4 Magical Hope Magical Hope is a bitch with plenty of natural ability and although she has been well beaten in recent starts, they were all in a much better grade of racing. She will appreciate the huge step back in class for this race and if she can muster some of her good early speed, she will be right in this. Bet Now: Albion Park Race 5 Albion Park - Race 10 9:54pm AEST No. 4 Mrs Sing Mrs Sing has managed 13 wins from 42 career starts including two of five at this track and distance. Pakenham - Race 2 1:30pm AEST No. 7 Ain't She Cute Ain’t She Cute has been racing well without winning and she has an excellent chance to claim a maiden race win at Pakenham this afternoon. She found the line strongly at Bendigo last start and a repeat of that performance would have her right in the mix. Barrier one should suit and she will have every possible chance in the run. Bet Now: Pakenham Race 2 Pakenham - Race 5 1:30pm AEST No. 6 Inside Edge Inside Edge has only recorded two wins from her 19 race starts, but I am confident that she is a better mare than that effort suggests. The Reward For Effort mare makes her own luck right on the speed and Jamie Mott should be able to control this race in the early stages. She will give her rivals something to chase. Ballarat - Race 2 12:55pm AEST No. 4 Mashrabiya Mashrabiya has finished second in her three race starts to date and she has an excellent chance to go one better in this contest at Ballarat this afternoon. On exposed form she does have a genuine class edge over the rest of this field and she should have every possible chance with Ben Allen in the saddle. Bet Now: Ballarat Race 2 Ballarat - Race 3 1:30pm AEST No. 8 Cristofina Cristofina hasn’t had a huge amount of luck during her racing career to date and I am confident that she is a better filly than her record suggests. This really isn’t the strongest race and she is one of the few horses in this field that does look to have upside. Barrier four is perfect and this is her chance to claim a maiden race win. Bet Now: Ballarat Race 3 Ballarat - Race 6 3:20pm AEST No. 2 Smokin' Pierro Smokin’ Pierro is the value runner in what is a very open betting contest. Bet on the Broncos to Win The Super Bowl Right Now

Hình ảnh
I’ve written this before , but it bears repeating: now is the time to bet on the Broncos to win the Super Bowl. DraftKings has their odds at +2500. A $100 bet would net $2500 in profits.  You know what this is about – it’s completely a bet on the Broncos landing the disgruntled Aaron Rodgers in a trade from Green Bay. Denver currently has the best non-Packers odds to land last season’s MVP, at +150. My colleague, Timothy Kim, just covered these odds and his thoughts earlier today. Why bet those odds, when Rodgers landing in Denver would immediately vault them into the Super Bowl favorite category? Let me once again make my case for you to join me on this Broncos future . The Roster Obviously, any trade for Rodgers would likely include at least one player of impact. Let’s work under the assumption that the base of the trade is the inevitable first round picks it would take to get Rodgers. This is a loaded roster on both ends, with the lone deficiency likely an average at
