When it comes to betting, the country offers exclusive opportunities for various racing events in the country. If you are looking for betting information for the equestrian sport in the country, this article entails all the answers you are looking for. Horse racing in the Netherlands Horse racing has been prevalent in the Netherlands for a long time. However, unlike in other countries, where horse racing is a popular spectator sport, harness racing is a more popular form of horse racing than flat racing. Short track harness racing has been taking place in the country since the mid-16th century, in which nobles, the elite, and innkeepers used to take part. 2022 Wyong Gold Cup Preview

A huge weekend of racing kicks off early on Friday with the Listed Wyong Gold Cup.  A field of 12 has accepted for the $200,000 staying feature, including Chris Waller’s impressive five-year-old gelding, Lord Ardmore.  The champion trainer is hoping to win the race for a record eighth time after dominating in recent years with the likes of Cardiff and Wu Gok, while Hugh Bowman is also chasing his fourth win aboard the favourite.  The form out of the Wyong Cup has often stacked up in much bigger races later in the spring, including The Metropolitan. For our thoughts on every runner, check out our preview below.  1. Lord Ardmore (2)  Recent form impressive for this. Winer of back-to-back starts before a game effort at Randwick two weeks ago when third in the Premier Cup. Steps back in class now and should appreciate the rise to 2100m with Hugh Bowman sticking on board. Draws to get a gun run from the low gate and is the horse to beat.  BET NOW: Lord Ardmore 2. 2022 Wyong Gold Cup Day Preview

Black-type racing returns to Wyong this Friday with the Wyong Gold Cup and the Listed Mona Lisa Stakes headlining the eight-race program.  We’ve analysed the entire meeting and offer our best bets below. Race 1 - 12:45pm AEDT Stone Real Estate Wyong 4YO&UP Maiden Plate (1350m) Notabadsuspect returned well at Goulburn a few weeks ago when running a clear second over a similar trip.  He had genuine excuses in the run after getting away slowly and copping some interference down the straight, but he should have plenty more room this time from a much wider gate.  The winner of that race has since gone on to win again and there is definite improve to come.  1 Unit Notabadsuspect BET NOW: Wyong Race 1 Race 2 - 1:20pm AEDT Central Coast Coolrooms Da Vinci Benchmark 64 Handicap (1300m) It’s hard to ignore Sumatra’s dominant maiden win first-up at Hawkesbury a fortnight ago.  The Lonhro filly reeled them in from midfield with a dominant turn of foot in the finish, and I

2022 Chelmsford Stakes Day Preview

Race 1 - 11:40am AEDT Highway Handicap (1200m) These Highway races are often times won by progressive horses with plenty of upside and Participator matches that criteria. The four year old gelding has had two cracks at this race and has not been beaten far both times including a second first up from a spell at this track. He’ll benefit from that run and despite the awkward draw, he is the horse to beat in the opening race of the afternoon. 2 Units Participator BET NOW: Randwick Race 1 Race 2 - 12:15pm AEDT Benchmark 72 Handicap (1800m) A big field has been assembled in the Midway Handicap and I’m keen on a horse that should be plenty fit for the race. Navajo Peak has been placed in four of seven career starts and was beaten just over a length at Hawkesbury last time out. He drops five kilos on that effort and although this is his first go at the 1800m, he looks well placed. 1 Unit E/W Navajo Peak BET NOW: Randwick Race 2 Race 3 - 12:50pm AEDT Benchmark

2022 Cox Plate Qualifier Day Preview

What a card of quality racing we have to look forward to at the home of racing at The Valley on Saturday afternoon! Our full 2022 Cox Plate Qualifier Day Preview can be read below. Race 1 - 12:30pm AEDT Ladbrokes Handicap (1500m) Small field with a number of horses right in the money. I’m happy to stay out of this one from a betting perspective. No Bet BET NOW: The Valley Race 1 Race 2 - 1:05pm AEDT Open Handicap (2040m) The 2022 Perth Cup winner Midnight Blue has a class edge on the majority of this field in my opinion and although he will be better over more distance, he looks well placed in this event. He has been placed in 13 of his 20 career starts and the blinkers go back on to sharpen him up a bit. This is a real litmus test for the six year old gelding when assessing his spring options and I think the stable will have him ready to win. 3 Units Midnight Blue BET NOW: The Valley Race 2 Race 3 - 1:40pm AEDT 3YO Handicap (1200m) The Moody trained Mi

Daily Harness Tips – Wednesday 31st August

Redcliffe - Race 1 5:52pm AEST No. 1 Monterey Jack Monterey Jack is in the veteran class, but he’s still racing with plenty of zest, as evidenced by his brave third on this circuit last week after working hard in the run.  He comes up with gate 1 this time around, looks to have the speed to hold the lead and from there he will take plenty of catching. BET NOW: Redcliffe Race 1 Redcliffe - Race 2 6:23pm AEST No. 1 Motu Amethyst Motu Amethyst broke a run of outs here last week when she was able to lob in behind her stablemate The Ragnbone Man before finishing the race off strongly.  This affair doesn’t appear much harder on paper and with options from the inside alley she has a great chance of going back-to-back. BET NOW: Redcliffe Race 2 Redcliffe - Race 4 7:20pm AEST No. 4 Convair Hustler Convair Hustler has returned from a break in fine fettle.  He resumed with a solid third at this track from the front end in slick time before being involved in a ballistic first

Daily Racing Tips – Tuesday 30th August

Ballarat - Race 5 3:00pm AEST No. 5 The Exchange The Exchange was a dominant first-up winner here on the synthetic before venturing to Sale where he only weakened late in the run home. The Lindsay Park-trained four-year-old raced on pace before dropping out over the final 100m, a run he can certainly improve on getting back to 1200m now with a little more fitness on his side. Jake Noonan steps into the saddle for the first time and he has plenty of options at his disposal from the soft draw. BET NOW: Ballarat Race 5 Ballarat - Race 6 3:30pm AEST No. 6 Rose Tycoon Rose Tycoon hit the line strongly two back at Bendigo and was unlucky not to claim the major spoils. She’s worth forgiving on her most recent run at Marburg where she was away slowly and caught wide, and I think the step back to 1000m should see her improve. Back in class and with Dean Holland again in the saddle, she should prove tough to beat. BET NOW: Ballarat Race 6 Ballarat - Race 7 4:00pm AEST No.
