Hawkesbury - Race 1 12:15pm AEST No. 7 Awesome Wonder Competitive race to start the day, but I’m with the favourite Awesome Wonder on top.  John O’Shea’s lightly-raced filly was a winner first-up with Pike in the saddle at Wyong and has since mixed her form in much tougher assignments.  She ran on well to finish a distant second to Our Bambino at Kembla Grange a couple of weeks ago where she had plenty of work to do after settling well back.  She meets that horse much better off at the weights today, and with Pike back in the saddle from an ideal gate, I think she’ll be hard to beat with plenty of fitness now on her side.
