Daily Racing Tips – Saturday 2nd July

Rosehill - Race 7 2:35pm AEST No. 4 Per Inaway Per Inaway looks set to peak now in her third run back.  Kris Lees’ lightly raced filly was a comfortable winner first-up before finding the tempo not to her liking over 1300m a couple of weeks ago.  She’s still a slight query racing on top of the ground, but if Hugh Bowman can take her to the front, she’ll be hard to run down. BET NOW: Rosehill Race 7 Rosehill - Race 8 3:15pm AEST No. 5 Wicklow Wicklow looks capable of taking the next step after producing one of the wins of the day at Rosehill a fortnight ago.  The Chris Waller-trained four-year-old found himself behind a wall of horses entering the straight, only to find a late gap with 200m to spare on his way to a narrow win.  He seemed to have plenty left in the tank when crossing the line and he’s no query over 1800m with two wins on the board. Fitter now third-up, he’ll take beating. BET NOW: Rosehill Race 8 Flemington - Race 7 3:30pm AEST No. 5 Sartorial Sple

The NRL’s Most Emotional Homecomings

Hình ảnh
New Zealand Warriors and Wests Tigers are far more integral to the 2022 wooden spoon equation than the Top 8 picture, but Sunday’s showdown promises to be one of the NRL’s most emotional matches in recent memory. Jettisoned in Australia for more than two and a half seasons by COVID, the Warriors end a 1,038-day Mt Smart Stadium hiatus this week – and it’s a sell-out as footy-starved fans ignore their club’s on- and off-field struggles to give the team a 25,000-strong embrace in what shapes as an electrifying occasion. As the Warriors gear up to return their spiritual stronghold, we’re revisiting the premiership’s most memorable homecomings and rebirths. Pratten Park (1985) Pratten Park in Ashfield was Western Suburbs’ home base for 48 seasons before the club made a permanent switch 10 kilometres further west to Lidcombe Oval in 1968. The club made intermittent appearances at their former home during the 1970s but returned for cameo after an eight-year absence in 1985. The battling

Deandre Ayton The Phoenix Suns ended their season in complete disappointment after getting blown out in game 7 of the second round to the Dallas Mavericks. In this game 7, it was clear to Suns fans that Deandre Ayton’s future with the team was in question. In this game, Ayton only played 17 minutes despite being a key part of the team’s finals run the year prior. Ayton made it known to the team that he does not want to continue to play for Phoenix. The young center put up stats of a double-double averaging 17.2 points per game to go along with 10.2 rebounds. The favorite team to land Ayton’s free agency contract currently is the Detroit Pistons at +150. The second favorite is the Phoenix Suns at +200. The Indiana Pacers are +700 as third favorites. If I was betting on this I would take the Pacers at +700 which are great odds, I can see a Myles Turner and Ayton swap as the Pacers are eager to move Turner. If the Pistons can manage to get a trade done for Ayton they will be extremel

Daily Racing Tips – Friday 1st July

Geelong - Race 5 2:30pm AEST No. 2 Bold Bourbon Bold Bourbon won by a length at Swan Hill a few weeks ago in his second start for the Lindsey Smith stable. The Kiwi import showed a nice turn of foot drawing clear from midfield, and he appeared to have plenty left in the tank when crossing the line. He placed on a Heavy 10 at Hamilton two runs back and the step up in trip should be ideal for him at this stage of his prep. Jarrod Fry sticking is a plus, and he only needs to hold his recent form to go on with it. BET NOW: Geelong Race 5 Geelong - Race 6 3:00pm AEST No. 7 Butter Blonde Butter Blonde presents fitter third-up after running on well for second at Mornington in similar conditions a few weeks ago. The daughter of Choisir weakened around the 200m mark, but I thought she fought back well to run a place behind a very smart horse. Back out in distance is a big positive and I expect her to push forward and make her own luck on-speed from the wide draw. BET NOW: Gee

2022 Flemington Finals Day Preview

Another quality nine-race card has been assembled this Saturday at Flemington to celebrate Finals Day. The track is currently rated a Soft 6, the rail remains in the true position, and our best bets can be found below. Race 1 - 11:50am AEDT TCL Leilani Series Final (1400m) Zousonic doesn’t win out of turn, but she’s definitely got the engine to make a mess of these if she finds the clear. Matt Cumani’s mare was only 2.5L off Bella Rouge two back over the track and distance, and I thought she ran a much-improved race when runner-up two weeks later where she was seen doing her best work late. She’s likely to peak now at this stage of her prep and with the right ride, she’ll be hard to hold out. 1 Unit Zousonic BET NOW: Flemington Race 1 Race 2 - 12:25pm AEDT Yulong Next Gen Sprinters Final (1200m) This is quite a tricky race, but I’m happy to back Chaseton following his brilliant debut win at Geelong a few weeks ago. Peter Moody’s two-year-old went forward that day

2022 Caloundra Cup Day Preview

A twilight meeting at the beautiful Sunshine Coast awaits us this Saturday with the running of the time-honoured Caloundra Cup . There are plenty of quality races on the card and our full 2022 Caloundra Cup Day Preview can be found below. Race 1 - 12:53pm AEDT Benchmark 80 Handicap (1800m) Fast Talking is a horse racing well right at the minute and he comes into this race having won two of his last three. He will have a fitness edge on a lot of these and five of his seven career wins have been on the dry track. 1 Unit Fast Talking BET NOW: Sunshine Coast Race 1 Race 2 - 1:28pm AEDT Benchmark 80 Handicap (1200m) Bonaparte could not have been much more impressive when winning first up at this track and distance. The six year old gelding scored by 2.5 lengths in that Benchmark 75, beating a strong field including Kosciusko. This race doesn’t look a hell of a lot harder and we are getting very good each way odds. 2 Units E/W Bonaparte BET NOW: Sunshine Coast Race

Daily Racing Tips – Thursday 30th June

Hawkesbury - Race 1 12:15pm AEST No. 7 Awesome Wonder Competitive race to start the day, but I’m with the favourite Awesome Wonder on top.  John O’Shea’s lightly-raced filly was a winner first-up with Pike in the saddle at Wyong and has since mixed her form in much tougher assignments.  She ran on well to finish a distant second to Our Bambino at Kembla Grange a couple of weeks ago where she had plenty of work to do after settling well back.  She meets that horse much better off at the weights today, and with Pike back in the saddle from an ideal gate, I think she’ll be hard to beat with plenty of fitness now on her side. BET NOW: Hawkesbury Race 1 Hawkesbury - Race 2 12:50pm AEST No. 2 Count On Me Count On Me presents fitter fourth-up following back-to-back placings at Newcastle and Wyong.  The son of Reliable Man finished a distant runner-up to The Milkybar Kid a few weeks ago with a well-timed run from midfield, and was seen crossing the line with seemingly plenty

Rosehill, Saturday 2nd July Day Preview

There are 10 races on the program at Rosehill on Saturday with plenty of opportunities to build a bank. Our full Rosehill, Saturday 1st July Day Preview can be read below. Race 1 - 11:00am AEDT Highway Handicap (1100m) These Highway Handicaps are often won by a progressive type of horse on the rise. The Paul Messara trained Shalstar has won three of four in her short racing career including a first up win on the Kensington track at Randwick. The three-year-old filly clearly has ability and although this is a step up in class, she looks the one to beat. 3 Units Shalstar BET NOW: Rosehill Race 1 Race 2 - 11:35pm AEDT Benchmark 72 Handicap (1300m) Songblue broke through for a much deserved win at Randwick last start when winning the Highway race by over two and a half lengths. The three-year-old has been placed in five of seven overall and has proven he handles the rain effected going. Barrier four and Jason Collett are both positives. 2 Units Songblue BET N

How To Bet On Serie A

Serie A is the top professional football league in Italy. It was founded in 1898 and has been played every year since. The league consists of 20 teams, with the winner being crowned the champion of Italy. To bet on Serie A, you must find a reputable sportsbook that offers odds on the league. Once you have found a sportsbook, you will need to create an account and deposit an amount into it to place bets. Once you have done this, you can place bets on any Serie A match. The most popular bet in Serie A is the money line (or 1X2 market) bet. This is a bet on which team will win the match. For example, if Juventus are playing AC Milan, and you bet on Juventus to win, then you will win if they win the match. Other popular bets include the point spread and the over/under. The point spread is a bet on how many goals a team will win or lose by. For example, if the point spread is +2.5, you will win if Juventus wins by 3 goals or more. If the point spread is -2.5, you will win if Juventus los

2022 John Deere Classic Preview

Another exciting conclusion to the Travelers Championship is officially in the books as we now turn our attention north to Illinois for the time-honoured John Deere Classic on Friday (AEDT). Given the current state of professional golf, it’s no surprise to find this week’s field a little short on elite talent with several big names either off resting or playing overseas.  In short, that has made betting on what is typically a wide-open tournament like the John Deere even more impossible, with current market headliners Webb Simpson, Adam Hadwin, and last week’s co-runner-up, Sahith Theegala at the shortest odds. Still, the John Deere has given berth to some recent champions of the game, while it’s also an ideal form guide for those looking ahead to the fourth and final major, The Open Championship, in a month’s time. Who will prevail this week at TPC Deere Run? Best bets, value, and roughies in our preview below! John Deere Classic Best Bet Adam Hadwin $17.00  The Canadian

Daily Racing Tips – Wednesday 29th June

Randwick-Kensington - Race  12:50pm AEST No. 3 Ramones Ramones ran second to a promising colt last time out over the track and distance and is well-deserving of his status as favourite. The Zoustar gelding has only been run down late in both attempts so far, but with a little more fitness on his side and a change to Jo Pride’s stable, he can only be expected to run well. The lightly-raced two-year-old has drawn to make his own luck on the speed and there’s a lot to like with Jason Collett sticking in the saddle. BET NOW: Randwick-Kensington Race 2 Randwick-Kensington - Race 4 2:00pm AEST No. 4 Jayanthi Jayanthi is a promising three-year-old out of the Maher and Eustace stable that has cashed a cheque in all four of her starts so far. The Hinchinbrook filly won her maiden at Ballarat three runs back by a comfortable margin and is worth forgiving on her latest start at Canterbury after missing the start. She still made up a stack of ground to run second, and that form d

Randwick-Kensington Preview – Wednesday 29th June

Eight races will be run and won at Randwick-Kensington on Wednesday, June 29 th . The rail will be set out three metres around the entire course and at publish, we’re faced with a track rated in the Soft (6) range. Race 1 - 12:15pm Bowermans Handicap (1150m) This looks the perfect opportunity for Himalaism to strike. By I Am Invincible and out of Snitzerland, Himalaism is bred from break-neck speed and he kept his best work for last when fourth, beaten by a length here when resuming. I’m expecting plenty of improvement for that effort and on exposed form, he’s certainly the one to beat. 4 Units Himalaism BET NOW: Kensington Race 1 Race 2 - 12:50pm Maiden Handicap (1150m) Ramones has only just missed at his first two career starts and gets another chance to win at Randwick-Kensington on Wednesday. The Zoustar gelding showed ability at the trials prior to debuting, having finished second in races at Warwick Farm and here at Randwick-Kensington this month. Fitter th
