Daily Racing Tips – Saturday, 1st October

Flemington - Race 3 1:50pm AEST No. 1 She's Licketysplit Made her Australian racing debut in the Thousand Guineas Prelude where she knocked up late in the race. She is already a Group 1 winner in New Zealand and while another filly in Sumatra ran past her last start, she meets her 3kgs better at the weight in the Edward Manifold Stakes . I’m not convinced she runs a strong 1600m just yet but the blinkers go on for the first time and Flemington will suit her. BET NOW: Flemington Race 3 Flemington - Race 8 5:05pm AEST No. 6 Roch 'N' Horse Absolutely thrives down the straight six here at Flemington as evident by her brilliant win in the Group 1 Newmarket back in March. She has finished in the top two in both starts at this track and distance and her first up performance in the Bobbie Lewis was full of merit. Will take benefit out of that run and looks really well placed in this year’s Gilgai Stakes . BET NOW: Flemington Race 8 Randwick - Race 5 2:10pm AE

Take the Detroit Lions and Give Up the Points

Hình ảnh
Long-suffering Detroit Lions fans may be seeing a dim light at the end of a long tunnel. Making the playoffs this season is a possibility, not an impossibility. The Lions can score points, which is good because the team once again has a shaky defense and suffers from questionable coaching decisions. Next up for the Detroit Lions (1-2) is a game Sunday against the Russell Wilson-less Seattle Seahawks (1-2) at Ford Field. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. EDT. FOX will broadcast the game. The Lions were a 4.5-point favorite at midweek, down from the opening line of 6.5 points, but still a solid favorite. Not so scary The Seattle defense, once one of the more scary in the NFL, probably won’t put up much of a fight against Jared Goff, Jamaal Williams (filling in for the oft-injured D’Andre Swift), Amon-Ra St. Brown, T.J. Hockinson and the rest of the Lions’ offensive cast of characters. The Seahawks rank 24th in the NFL in total yards allowed (408 per game), and are tied for 20th in points allowed

TNF Best Bets: Miami Dolphins at Cincinnati Bengals

Hình ảnh
NFL action in 2022 has been fantastic through the first three weeks, perhaps the best its ever been. And there is no reason that this Thursday night’s game between the upstart Miami Dolphins (3-0) and the Cincinnati Bengals (1-2) can’t get another week off on the right foot even if they have two of the most overrated signal callers in the game. Don’t get me wrong, Tua Tagolovailova is off to a fantastic start for the Dolphins, and he has shown tremendous improvement in year three of his development. But it is not that he has faced a murderous row of defenses this year, except for this week against Buffalo, who had five starters out injured. Tagliovailova did complete 72.2% of his passes in the 21-19 victory over the Bill though he finished with just 186 yards, with 45 yards coming on one play. Meanwhile, Joe Burrow can sling the ball around like few others. However, the success of the Bengals (1-2) over the last year-plus has had more to with their defense than his sterling play. B

Daily Harness Tips – Wednesday, 28th September

Redcliffe - Race 1 5:52pm AEST No. 2 Mystical Jazz Open contest to start the night here with a stack of hopes, but Mystical Jazz looks to have as good a chance as any.  She is second up for the new stable and her effort on this track first up was encouraging when chasing home the flying Ima Birubi Boy in slick time.  She gets the front line this time around, looks like finding the pegs first and whether she goes for an all the way win or elects to trail a suitable runner she should shake the life out of this. BET NOW: Redcliffe Race 1 Redcliffe - Race 2 6:24pm AEST No. 5 Marianna Bromac Marianna Bromac was well-found in the market last week on this circuit first up for the new camp and although she was beaten convincingly behind stable mate Courageous Sam her effort was more than sound as she got a long way out of her ground in a race that just didn’t pan out for her.  Tonight’s assignment looks a much easier and with a touch of luck from the tricky gate she should go

Daily Racing Tips – Wednesday 28th September

Rosehill - Race 2 2:35pm AEST No. 5 Pereille Godolphin colt Pereille was not beaten by much when making his racing debut at Warwick Farm two weeks ago having started as the favourite. The son of Fastnet Rock will take plenty of benefit out of that run and appreciate the step up in distance to 1200m. Blinkers will go on to sharpen him up. BET NOW: Rosehill Race 2 Rosehill - Race 3 3:10pm AEST No. 2 Father's Day The Bjorn Baker trained Father’s Day has been incredibly consistent throughout his short racing career and has now put together three impressive wins in a row leading into this event. The four year old gelding has missed a placed just once in eight career starts and despite only narrowly winning his last three, he’s beaten third place on each occasion by a considerable margin. Blinkers have been added and the apprentice will give some weight relief. BET NOW: Rosehill Race 3 Rosehill - Race 5 4:20pm AEST No. 6 Eye Pea Oh Excellent when resuming with a

Cranbourne Preview – Wednesday 28th September

Cranbourne will host this week’s Victorian metro midweek meeting, and eight races are on the program. The rail will be set out nine metres around the entire course and at publish, we’re faced with a track rated in the Soft (5) range.   Race 1 - 2pm Furphy Plate (1400m) I thought that Rule Of Time was good on debut and she can break her maiden at Cranbourne on Wednesday. The daughter of Sebring settled off the pace in the Geelong maiden and mustered a nice turn of foot to fill the minors. With improvement for that experience, she can begin her rise through the grades. 3 Units Rule Of Time BET NOW: Cranbourne Race 1 Race 2 - 1:35pm Silks Cranbourne Maiden Plate (1400m) Sir Rockford is another galloper who can break his maiden at Cranbourne today. The Shocking gelding showed promise at the trials prior to debuting and flashed late the finish second, beaten a head by Staunch at Sale. With improvement, I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish. 3 Units Luc
